Electrical Engineering Technologist

McMillan-McGee Corp. is a Calgary-based environmental engineering firm engaged in the businesses of soil de-contamination and environmentally responsible heavy oil production solutions.

We are currently seeking an individual to fulfill the role of Electrical Engineering Technologist. Primary responsibilities and qualifications will be:

  • Fabrication and programming of test control apparatus and equipment
  • Experience and detailed knowledge of electronic circuits, integrated systems, and web-based control
  • Utilize electrical engineering principles and technologies for application in industrial control and measurement, and computers
  • Experience with computer-assisted engineering and design and internet programming (HTML, Java, PERL, PHP)
  • Graduate of EET program or completion of electrical engineering degree
  • 3 to 4 years related work experience
  • Good command of the English language with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate productively with others
  • An entrepreneurial spirit with an eye for precision and a drive for effective solutions
  • Canadian citizenship / Permanent Resident status along with a valid passport is a must
  • Willingness to travel to our project sites to complete field assignments
